NVIDIA CUDA-Q Logical Debuts with a 7x Fermilab Speedup and a 10x Cut in Diraq's Qubit Estimate

StorageReview reports NVIDIA's new CUDA-Q Logical layer cut a Fermilab fault-tolerant design cycle from five months to three weeks.
NVIDIA has added CUDA-Q Logical to its open-source CUDA-Q platform, an orchestration layer for building applications that target fault-tolerant, error-corrected quantum computers rather than raw physical qubits.
Fermilab reports the tool compressed a fault-tolerant algorithm design cycle from roughly five months to three weeks.
Iceberg Quantum used it to show that Diraq's spin-qubit hardware could reach 1,000 logical qubits with about 150,000 physical qubits, roughly ten times fewer than Diraq's earlier estimate.
StorageReview notes both results come from early-access partners, but they are the first concrete figures for tooling aimed at the logical-qubit stage.
